70 Clutch Pedal
When restoring my car I noticed that the pin where the clutch rod attaches to the pedal is worn.
I understand that they have repro pedal assemblies and I have looked at one.
They are different from the originals but decent. I prefer to repair my original with a new pin. This would entail grinding off a weld and pressing the old worn pin out. The pin is of hardened steel and whoever repros the pedal assembly will not sell just the pin.
Somebody used to provide just the pin but I cannot seem to remember who.
Does anyone know who might be able to provide a pin or a low mileage GM original clutch pedal where the pin is not worn down?
I realize that I probably should have placed the thread in parts wanted but thought I might get more responses here. I posted a WTB thread in the other parts forum but received only a single response in a week.
I appreciate any assistance.
