DeWitt Radiator Fitting
Question for someone smarter than me... probably a lot of you...
I just replaced my stock radiator with a DeWitt direct replacement. Had no issues with mounting my SPAL fans to the new radiator, however, my top radiator support brackets don't fit as tight as they did on the original radiator. Did others experience this? Any ideas on how to tighten things up so that it doesn't rattle around?
Mine did the same, I replaced the rubber inside the brackets, that helped some. I also ever so slightly bent the brackets down some and installed. My radiator does not move at all.
Check to make sure your core support is'nt weak and rotting, otherwise it causes a "drooping radiator". Noticed on the '80 I used to have the top of the radiator was barely in the top cushions-that was when I noticed "how rotted out my core support was".

Yep, check your support. If it's OK, then replace the rubber-still available GM-and bend the brackets slightly.
