Default '69 Underbody Heatshields

I bought a pair of the new underbody metal heat shield reproductions now available. There are no instructions as to how to install.

Any suggesstions?

In the front, they're bolted to the same bracket as the "footwell" shields on the firewall.

In the back, there are 2 brackets on each side riveted to the crossmember. The shields attach to those riveted brackets. Chuck

Where did you purchase these, do they make them for the 70.

I bought them from Zip Products.
Maybe Zip gets them from Paragon perhaps. They are new so they aren't in the Zip catalog but they were in their on-line products "catalog". They sell the brackets needed separately.

I think the heatshields were a '68 & '69 only deal. I don't know that they would fit a '70 or later but don't see why not.

While you're at it, consider also adding the underbody insulation blanket which would add extra insulation from the heat.
