71 Corvette 350...long or short water pump? Alternator and P/S...how many pulleys on the bottom (crank) and the top (water pump)???

Water pump - short.

What accessories do you have? (a/c, smog, etc.) Usually the crank has 3 pulleys...

had A/C but not now...no compressor and No smog only PS...

All Corvettes have "short" pump, '70 & earlier are 5.625", '71 and later specs:

5.795" Length
3/4" Bearing
3/4" Shaft

Stewart has specs on all the various pumps:

Two groove pulley on both water pump & crank.

why 2 different lengths that are both, considered "short"?
