Default Help me diagnose an electrical issue.

This is weird...my 79 brake/turnsignal lights function as normal, except
when the headlights/parking lights are turned on. With the lights on, the rear pass. side light ONLY (drivers side ok) goes completely off when i step on the brake pedal. I've eliminated the bulb and the flashers as the problem...and i can't even keep track of what happens when the turn signal is used...i think it blinks, but goes dark when it should be dim in a stop and turn situation....I thought about the headlight or brakelight switch being at fault, but wouldn't either of those affect BOTH sides rather than only one ? Could the turn-signal switch (on the steering column) be involved ?

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP !!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, sounds like a ground issue.

The two ground wires that come to my mind are both on the drivers side, one attached to the rad support near the bottom, and one attached to the rear of the frame beside the gas tank. Make sure there are star washers under the terminals so they "bite" into the frame, making good contact.

I forgot to attach the ground on the rad support, and I had weird lighting problems.
