Sorry guy's, Just found out about this thread. I just contaced my supplier, corvette rubber. Right now the way i am set up as a dealer, my cost is dictated by the amount i order. I typically place single orders as they come in. I can't give a set price on this group purchase until i have an exact count. However, here is an example of how the price would work on a complet kit for a 73 coupe.
regular retail 259.00
regular forum discount price 229.00
group purchase, approximate cost 189.00
That GP price would be if we had at least 10 people. If you guys really want to try to get a good price, you should send a link over to the c1 &2 and C4 guys. I am sure that there will be several guys interested.
I really don't have the time to organize this. However, I WILL get you guy's a great price when you are ready to order. Is there someone that is willing to organize this for me?
Note** I recieved a couple weather strip orders earlier today from some forum members. If you guys want, i will put your order on hold and then you include you in this group purchase. That way you will get the better pricing. I will watch this post.
Guys, my website is still under construction. Slowly but surely we are getting all the product in there. I have hired a couple girls to add the data for me. I hope they have it done soon!!!
I suppose I could organize it... the question is how exactly does it work. Can we just get a group of people together to send you approximate amount of money and you keep a tally of how many people have sent the money before a cutoff date, then purchase them all on a specific date after the cutoff date to send in the money? If not all people that pledged to send the money send it in, then each person that did purchase a kit could send a little more.
Just an idea....

I have an '88 'vert - would be interested, again depending on price. Since I've never done a GP here at the forum - how does it work for payment and delivery?
ya Scott I'm in for that price or better, 71 coupe complete kit
Thanks
How about the rad supports, do many of you guys have any interest in them? Scott is able to get a decent price but we need to order at least 10 supports from his supplier. Something to think about.
Thanks
P.S. Canadian guys, we can get togeather and save big time of brokerage fees etc to get stuff over the border, something else to think about
I am open in terms of how payment is made. I accept visa, mastercard, and american express. I also take money orders and checks. Ideally i would like to have somebody send me a spread sheet with the the quanities needed for each year. I can then forward that info over to my rep at corvette rubber and get some set prices.
so what are we all doing, who is supplying the weatherstripping? also are they complete kits for every weatherstrip on the entire car? mine are all origional and have been wanting to do this job for some time. i need 1 complete kit for my 73 coupe
