I have been in a few local shows and have had judges ask why the underside is not nearly as clean and shiny as the top so I would get more points.I just tell them that I drove there that morning or that I went to the local Cruise In spot the night befrore. Some people can not believe that some people drive their Corvettes. I admit I don't drive that many miles but if it goes somewhere it gets driven, I don't even own a trailer, no need for one for a running car.
Every time this topic comes up on the forum, it never fails to light my fire Some people just don't appreciate the fact that there are situations where trailering is the only practical ( if not possible) way to go. I drive the 69 427 Vert anywhere I go within a 150 - 200 mile radius but any further it's just not feasable. It has 12:1 compression with 4.11 gears. (Love those Hookers but the wife doesn't ) Probably 6-8 mpg tops on high octane AV gas (never measured it. ) Couple of cans of octane boost usually gets me back home, but any further.... I use my trailer. It's easier to put up with all you guy's razzin than my wifes

I will use a trailer on some occassions, mostly for shows or trips pass 4 hours. Just takes too much gas, and its better to avoid as much rock chips as possible. Other than that..i drive.
Yea, I did about a 1.5 hour ride each way yesterday afternoon. After 3 hours of "wwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrr", "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" , and "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! !GET OUTTA MY WAY!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" your ears start to hurt. So do the feet and my wallet cries every time it gets near the gas gauge.

I wouldn't call it a trailer queen if you drive it as much as you do. To me a trailer queen only gets driven from the garage, to the trailer, from the trailer to the parking spot at a car show, then back to the trailer, back to the garage. I fully understand trailering if you have a very far way to go. So, I'd call your vette a driver. - albeit a very nice driver based off your pics
I would consider my car a trailer queen, but probably not for the reason most would suspect.
My car was driven the first 4 yrs of its life regularly, a 1971 LS6 coupe with 33,935 miles by 01-07-75. Mileage increased to 34,959 by 05-25-82. Mileage was 35,230 at 11-29-95. Currently it resides at 39,285 on 01-13-05.
I have enjoyed this car tremendously, the paint is original, but lacquer craized from nose to tail, the drivetrain is original as is the interior.
I love having an original rare optioned Corvette, I love the looks, the awsome power, I enjoy taking it to car meets, but it is not shown for awards or trophies. I just don't want the original parts to wear out, it can only be original ONCE.

I think trailer queens belong in museums, but if let's say I had a MINT condition 63 split window or a car which I chrome plated everything ( even chasis I wouldn't drive it to shows
It depends on the car. If I had a NCRS certified 67 L-88 worth $155K I would drive it sparingly and trailer it to shows >200 miles away becuase it is now not a car but a financial asset. Imagine 18 year old missie in her 2004 Acura whatever on the cellphone etc. and she totals 7 years of frame off and your out $155,000.000 a 7 years of work. Most guys owning these cars have several "driver" Vettes so they can still get out and enjoy like we do.
Unless its some ultra rare high dollar car, like a '69 ZL1, I'd rather drive the car than tow it. At car shows I always vote for the cars that are driven. A car that is driven is probably to be mechanically sound. A "trailer queen" may look nice but i've seen alot of them that run like
