Default Electronic fuel pump placement

Where did you guys put your electronic fuel pumps? I got one the other day and was trying to figure out the best location for it. I figure it should be close to the fuel tank. Pics would be great. Thanks

I had that in mind as I too am ditching the spare tire, but I was also thinking on the side rail near the tank. I guess I need to play with it to find an appropriate location.

That's where I have mine, I'm running a Holley Blue with no problems.

not on the vette, but i put one on a 78 chevy truck that we did a tpi swap on. Made a bracket and bolted it to the frame rail right next to the tank. As long as the pump is pushing the fuel foreward rather than siphoning you're fine. The closer to the tank, the better.

Removed teh spare tire and outer carrier. Located it right under the tank on the carrier support. Good luck

I have a Holley Red
Still have my tire carrier
I Put the pump on the frame rail between the 2 right taillights
There was a mounting hole there. I drilled a second for the bracket
