It seems EVERYONE has '69's and I like the style, but dash mounted ignition, button doors, etc.
Second would be a '58'-'59 red w/ white covers.

I'm partial to the '69 and '70 chrome bumper coupes
But...I sure as hell wouldn't turn away a big block mid year Vette

that window didn't change until 78 - I can't belive it I am actually correcting someone about a car!!
anyway i would go with 73 cause it's a one year car, 74 cause that's the year i was born, it would have to have a 454 auto ofcourse!!! My hubby likes the 61 (also his birth year)

I love my 69 but my two favorites would be big block mid year with a 4 spd or a black ZR-1 that I got to ride in when i was in high school. when it hit secound gear I knew i had to have one of those someday

Just a note. 78 was the first year for the fastback window, on the C3's, not '77.

63 split window coupe. Absolutely magnificent lines and styling, nothing else even comes close IMHO. I know I'll never be able to afford one, will probably wind up with a new C6 one of these days.

That is what the vette was all about, and that single headlight look is cleaner.
My second choice would be a 66 big block convertible with side pipes (a neighbor had one recently, too bad he sold it for $60K) Joe

It's gotta be the 68-72 models.
