Props to Hagerty's!
I had to have my car towed (@ 2AM) a few weeks ago. I forgot about my $50 towing allowance through Hagerty's (You must call their 800 # on your membership card and have them dispatch an "approved" towing service).
I called a towing service out of the Yellow Pages and, a few days later, remembered my towing reimbursement clause. I sent an e-mail and they asked for a fax'ed copy of the tow receipt. They reminded me I was supposed to call them for the service and they didn't have to reimburse for an "unauthorized" tow, but I received $50 in the mail today (that's almost half my premium!).
If all insurance company's were like Hagerty's, I wouldn't mind writing those checks every month.
