A new plush carpet is $200. This includes new storage lid compartment covering.

Willcox is great. Have bought a lot of things from them, but not carpet. I actually got mine, and am in the process of installing it now, from Al Knoch at the Chevy Vette Fest in Chicago. Paid $170 total including for the compartment.

I bought a complete carpeting set from Al Knoch at the Chicago Vette Fest last year. Paid $135 because I bought it through a vette shop in Chicago with whom I've done a lot of business. Installed it last summer. Looks great!

The carpet installation itself was not very difficult. You need patience and a sharp knife and sharp scizzors. However, contrary to what you may hear, it is not a simple weekend project. To do a thorough job, you should remove the parking brake cover and center console cover with shift plate. Removing the center console on my '69 was a little tricky. Then you want to rip out all the old carpeting, of course, and clean the surface of the floor and back storage area. Then apply a layer of dynamat for sound proofing. Then a layer of Reflectix for a thermal barrier. Then install the new carpeting. Then replace the center console, etc. The whole project took me several weekends because I wanted to do a careful job, and you'll also work on a few tangential projects while you have the cockpit torn apart. I'm really glad I did it and I'm very pleased with the results, but I hope I never have to do it again.
