Did someone say winter projects - Progress Pic's
I decided to take some more pics of my project. Keep in mind that I started in October of 2004.
The frame and suspension is almost done.
Some sheetmetal work in the battery compartment.
And on the floorboard.
another view
Jay, does the rims look familiar.
What a mess.
Thanks for all your help up to now
More pic's coming soon.

Looks great, I'm in the middle of doing this myself. What year is your car? It looks like an early C3, you should have glass floors why the metal repair section?

It's a 69 and I plan to have the BBC in by February 1.
It has been the most fun project that I have ever worked on.

Those floor pans are fiberglass. Any reason for using sheet metal to patch them?

I thought the same thing. The battery box sheetmetal looks like it could tear out of the side screws or rivets. Floors should be fiberglassed. Fiberglass is nice to work with and if you clean the mating surface well enough you can make it look original.
The frame is really nice and to get that far you must spend long hours.
Don't cut corners just to see how fast you can get it done.
Nice Job
