coil spring paint
What type of paint does everyone use on your coil springs????

Krylon gloss black, 2 years and 2,000,000 compressions later no flaking nor chipping.

did you have to use any other coats like primer or anything to do that?

i used no primer, i did clean them very well and used rustoleum gloss black....they still look good...

Now I feel like a moron.
I bought new springs and installed them without doing anything.
They have a thin black paint that will probably rust through in a year.
Everything else is so nice.
If they are lightly rusted, go with POR. If new, I would just go with the Krylon or Rustoleum.

No rpimer requirted as long as surface is prepped. POR-15 works as long as you use their acid etch before application.

get one of those do it yourself powder coating kits. they work excellent, and the wife will be so happy to see you using the stove for a change.

Thanks everyone,went the old rusto paint route
