[SCAM??]Anyone know this guy???

He said he had a rear window set up that he would sell me and PMed me a price that I was willing to pay. I sent him a PM saying I agree to the price, just send me some pics.

I did not hear from him and sent him another PM and still nothing.

Im begining to wonder if this was a scam or not.

I like to think not and hope to god it is not, but just wanted to check in to see if anyone knew him.

I hope I am off base, and this is not the case. Roadster if you are reading this did you get my PM? I want nothing more than the parts.

If not then I guess this may be a warning to you guys...

could be but wouldn't call someone a scammer without an attempt to get your money...he may work long hours or doesn't get to his computer as often as you...have you emailed him?

I think this is George W. in Texas who has a lot of project cars and parts. I haven't done business with him yet but I know he's out of town a lot and slow in email responses. He's posted parts for sale here and at CAC so there must be someone who has some experience with him?

Please dont get me wrong guys Im not calling him a scammer. i never sent him money so there has been no loss. Im am just hoping that either someone knows him and can say yea he is legit, but busy, so no suprise on the slow response.

If that is the case then I will edit my post and appoligize, but am a little nervous now.

Some people aren't on their computers everyday. He probably has others things he is doing. Scammers are always on their computers and ready with their next response.
