Those rag-type buffers work well on irregular surfaces, and aren't too agressive. Pretty fool proof, but don't expect to bring back badly scratched or oxidized parts with them. Joe

[QUOTE=Jughead]Flitz buffer? Any good? Looks like it'd work. Drill not included.
i don't think so..... it seems like to me that you couldn't get it spinning fast enough to do any real buffing.....maybe useful if its only to do some light cleaning on those shiny wheels of yours....

I could attach it to my air drill which spins about @20,000 RPM.
Not sure about the buffer, but Flitz is remarkable stuff! It will polish metal to a mirror shine with surprisingly little effort. I use it (with a soft rag, paper towel, or Q-Tips depending on the area) to to polish various parts in my automatics (barrel throats like mirrors, etc.) - works better than anything else I have used. Having use the stuff quite a bit, I would imagine that buffer would work real well (without spinning 20,000 R's).
Flitz is really good polish. Boaters have been using it for years. I used to use it on the stainless on my boat. I wish I knew then that it was good for the clear plastic vinyl on my bridge enclosure. Should work on the plastic convertable top windows too.
They never used to offer a kit with that wheel in it. You should not need high RPM for that stuff. I always just used hand power.
