HELP!! gauge lights stay on!!
Guys, My damned gauge lights stay on. I replaced the headlight switch, I thought that would be the problem but no. The dimmer doesn't work either. Any help would be great...
It is a 77 vette..

The power to the gages runs thru the light switch. If you just replaced it it has to be the reason. does the dimmer actually dim and or brighten the gages lights?

I had a similar problem with an interior dome light in my '71 truck. Switch wouldn't shut it off. I found that part of the wire that runs under the floor mat had been pinched and cut. Did this problem start after you had done some other work? Is there something that might have disturbed the wiring somewhere in the car or under the dash?
