The 7/16" around 35-40 lbs....I think both are grade 5

Oliver you need to go to a nut and bolt place and pick up a bolt chart...
the chart will give you torq specs for every bolt size and grade, including metric..

These numbers should be gotten from the specs in the Chevrolet Chassis Service and/or Overhaul manuals. You should NOT use standard torques, since some bolts go into aluminum and MOST bolts (even when threaded in cast or steel) are specified to torques DIFFERENT than the "standard" values.

Tie rod ends are: 35 ft-lbs plus additional torque required to align castellation with the cotter pin hole in the stud (not to exceed 50 ft-lb max).

thanks!!

I won't be able to use the torque wrench on the bolts that connect the transmission mount to the transmission.. but the specs will give me some kind of idea on how tight I'll have to tighten them!!
