FS/TRADE: 1972 (project) Corvette
Hello Everyone,
I am interested in selling my Vette. Here are a few of the details but, feel free to contact me for specifics.
1972 Corvette, numbers matching,base 350,auto,ac,ps,pb,t-top.
The engine was recently rebuilt and has only been ran for the break-in and for moving the car around the driveway and garage. It also has a fresh trans, new brakes (including stainless steel sleeved calipers, new lines, pads and master cylinder), new suspension bushings front and rear, new shocks front and rear, new 2.5"exhaust from the manifolds back w/dynomax mufflers, rebuilt headlight actuators, new vacuum relays, repainted rallys with new tires.
The body has been stripped to the original primer/gelcoat and primered with 2K urethane primer and other than wet sanding is basically ready for paint. The windshield was removed to check for frame rust. A dime sized patch of rust was found in the upper corner of the windshield frame. That was removed and rewelded. With the exception of the windshield, all the glass is original "AstroVent".The original color was white with red interior.I have not done much to the interior although, I have purchased new seat covers and carpet. Both of these items are still in the box and go with the car. I also have a vacuum hose kit that is also in the box that goes with the car.
As I mentioned this car is a project. It will need a windshield and a good tune-up to make it a driver. Most everything else that is needed is cosmetic. The car is located in central North Carolina. I am asking $8000 OBO. I would like to sell it soon so, don't be afraid to make an offer.
Thanks,
Mike
