1971 vette
Great magazine.....I also picked up on that, seeing that 71 had positive increase just like being in the stock market and to boot you get to drive it and have fun at the same time.

I Read An Article In The Same Magazine That You Got The Price
List From Not That Long Ago ,it said That The 72 C3's Were Actualy Worth More Than The 1971 ,what Should You Beleive,
And Also If You Tried To Get These Prices For Your C3's On This Website You Probably Wouldnt Sell It Very Fast

If you advertise nation wide and wait 6 months to sell these prices may be real.

OK, so I received the June '07 CM on Saturday...how do you know which column to rate your car? My '71 LS5 Conv./Hardtop, 4 speed, A/C has 55,000 miles with all original paint, interior, soft-top, tank sticker, protecto plate, etc.
Is it "Needs TLC", "Average", or "Good"?
Needs TLC= $24,000.00
Average= $35.500.00
Good= $44,000.00
Show Ready= $60,000.00
I'm assuming Show Ready is a body off restoration with all new parts.
Average would be a great price!
Where do they get the data to post these prices?
And for all you '74/'75 Convertible owners...the 1974 Roadster on page 66 sure is a great looking car!

slk,alot of the data for selling prices come from auction results and some from private sales.Some of the prices in this guide are not realistic selling prices as some average C3 prices in their guide are,I believe priced too high,not selling at those prices.If you take the BJ auction prices out,their average price guide would drop considerably.The 68-69 L88 is a hot car right now with prices as high as 600k,but their guide is showing the 250k range.A 69 L88 vert sold a few months back for over 500k and it was a private sale.The 68-69 427-435,71 LS6 and the 68-72 Big Blocks and 70-72 LT-1's are going up and some are already priced out of reach.There are some nice C3's on this site at fair prices that just do not sell.
