What's My 72 Worth?
Hey guys I'm thinking about selling my 72 350 4speed car. It is a matching numbers car. I'd like to know what some of you experts out there think this car is worth. It doesn't have many options. Here is what it is:
350 engine
4-speed trans.
Power sterring
Power Brakes
T-tops
Thats about it I guess.
It has 56,000 miles on it.
I just pulled the engine last year and rebuilt it while I had it out. It is bored 5 over and all the internals are to stock spec as best as they can be. I can e-mail pics if you like.
Thanks,
Jim

Ray, let people know where you are. Let them know color. List everything you can think of. It can go from 5000-? Send some pics to BOWTYEGUY@aol.com and I am far from an expert.

I'm sorry it is in good condition, there are a few things that need to be done. The radio is the original but is not working. The interior is in excellent condition, new carpet, new door panels, the paint is good, it has been repainted, if you were going to turn the car into a premium show car t would need new paint. but on a 1-10 scale I would say the paint is like a 7.5-8. The rest of the car is very original, I just replaced the original brake calipers two years ago with new s.s. insert ones. Hopefully this helps. I can send you pics if that would help or if I could figure out how to post pics on here I would. But I don't see the option when I post.

To post photos, they need to first be hosted on the web by a site like photobucket (it's free). Here's a tutorial on posting pics:

Good luck with the car (and the pics)!

Sounds like a really nice driver. Low miles, four speed, matching numbers, and good color are all things that it has going for it. My opinion... I'd ask in the $16-$19K range and expect to sell it for around $15-$18K.

Here are some pics of the car that I am speaking of. Hope this works, and is helpful in coming up with an idea for a price.
