What do I look for when inspecting a possible purchase of a C3 vette? I know the basics of buying a used car but what about anything C3 specific?

(not being snotty, just trying to save you a MAJOR headache)

There are alot of nice cars for sale, but there are FAR more turds, and if you end up with one, you my friend will be buried in it ($$$$) before its made right.

that is some good info thanks. Just wish i would have seen it before I bought my first C3. It wasnt too bad of a deal though, good for me.
