Default 1971 LT-1 91000 original miles

For Sale, 1971 LT-1 91000 Original miles, documents back to 1985. This car sat covered in a garage from 1998 to 2008. I have had it for about a year. Runs very strong, and is quite reliable.

PS, PB, Tilt-Tele, Alarm, 3.70 rear. This is an Arizona car, and has just slight surface rust on the underside. When I bought it, it wasn't running, since then I have changes all the fluids, put all new seals and hoses on the fuel tank (build sheet was not there), rebuildt the brakes and the carburator. It has a CE block that was installed in 1973, headers, no air pump. Other than that the car is all original (except the radio). The car is unrestored and unmolested, as far as I can tell, it has never been hit. Fiber optics all work.

I am selling this to put the money into my 1970 L-46 Convertible, my wife said one has to go, and this is the one. I am very sorry to lose her, but it is what it is. I have more pictures, and can take others if you are interested. $19,000.

Very nice - it must be hard to part with. Do you have any shots of the engine bay?

Is the new engine a CGZ LT1 motor?

Its a CE engine. I have had the pan off, it has the forged crank, pink rods, TRW pistons, 4 bolt main, etc. I beleive it was a warranty replacement engine, although I don't have any paperwork stating that. The gent I bought it from had the solids taken out when he had the engine rebuildt, but its still the original cam. He said he got tired of adjusting the valves.

I haven't seen your convertible but, I hope it's really nice to be giving this car up for it. I think this car is beautiful; love the white exterior with the blue interior. Good luck with the sale; great car with a nice price.

Thanks for the kind words!....The convertible is completely rebuildt mechanically, but needs the interior redone, and also needs to be repainted. Its a factory air car, 350/350 4 speed. Its also an Arizona car, sold in Phoenix!

Please excuse my ignorance here... Has the car been repainted? The riveted-on data plate on my original paint '77 did not have paint on it as I see that yours does.

Exceptionally nice looking Corvette, BTW.

The 979 paint code on the trim tag is for Bridgehampton Blue.

Looks like the sister car of my 72 LT-1. Same blue interior as well. Great looking car. Good luck with the sale.

Looks nice, love those LT-1 C3s. BTW, may want to edit your description - headers should be included in items that are not original.

Very true, A.I.R. pump is also missing, and the original carb is long gone. I thought the pics would tell the tale!

Thanks!
