Look at the spoiler lip across the rear... It looks taller than normal.

Emblems on side gone, custom blue splotch on the side... not likely a real black car. L88 hood as well. I'll bet it gets worse the closer you get.

That corvette is in Dallas and I emailed about it. It is a 400 hp car with add on air. Was not impressed with the dealer on representation of the car.

This is in my price range. The dealer does not sound very knowledgeable when I called. They said it was matching but who knows if that is true, it does have build sheets and a protectoplate.

I don't like the paint, I would repaint it to original. Is this daily drivable condition? They said yes but who knows. I am in So. Cal. so I cant check and I dont want to fly over there if it is junk.

I would also need a new dash as they ripped that one up to put in the aftermarket cd player.

Did they say it was a real black car?

Proably have to put at least $10k into it to get the correct paint, hood, wheels and exhaust, but if the motor and tripower are correct could be worth $30k or more? Sounds like air was added and not original? There were some 400hp cars without air?

What does the protectoplate tell or prove?

not to downplay headers, sidepipes and highrise alum intake, but this car has probably seen lots of high RPM and thrashed.... if original cylinder case and heads then maybe this might warrant a closer look... a big block with air ( wrong compressor but....) for less than 20? maybe.. depends on the underside, in which photos are mysteriously absent...

They reduced it to 18k now.

The people there are plain incompetent. It is not worth the headache of even dealing with them. (at least the ones I talked to)

I am passing on this one even though the price looked go at first.
