1969 corvette F/S NON MATCHING #
HISTORY- I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM A FORUM MEMBER FROM TEXAS HE REMOVED ORIGINAL ENGINE WITH A NEW ZZ4 350/390 CREATE ENGINE W EDElBROCK ALUMINUM HEADS HE ALSO RESTORED THE ENTIRE BRAKE SYSTEM AND REBUILT THE TH400 AND HAD THE AC AND DUCT SYSTEM REPAIRED ALL THIS WORK WAS DONE BY CORVETTE HOUSTON.
EXTERIOR- THE CHROME IS IN GREAT CONDITION SO IS THE BODY OF THE CAR THE PAINT LOOKS GREAT FROM 3FT AWAY TO 50FT AWAY THE NORMAL PAINT CHIPS BY THE FRONT HEADLIGHT FRONT FENDER LINES FROM 1-10 ITA A 8.5
THE INTERIOR HAS BEING RESTORED WITH NEW CARPET, DOOR PANEL CENTER CONSOLE, RADIO, SPEAKERS AND A GOOD CLEAN UP ALSO NEW STEERING WHEEL THE ORIGINAL WILL COME WITH CAR
SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE I HAVE DONE THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES, FRONT SUSPENSION- SHOCKS, BUSHINGS TIE RODS, BALL JOINT, ALINGMENT, REBUILT GEAR BOX. REAR -NEW REAR SPRING, BEISTEIN SHOCKS, NEW TRAILING ARM SET UP ALSO ADJUSTABLE STRUT RODS
EXHAUST- PYPES 2 1/2 STAILESS STEEL WITH HEDMANN HEADDERS SOUNDS GREAT,
ALL FIBER OPTICS WORK AS THEY SHOULD ALSO ALL THE ELECTICAL PARTS FROM THE CAR INCLUDING THE A/C WORK PERFECTLY.
THIS VEHICLE IS KEY AND TURN THE ONLY THING I HAVE NOT REBUILT IS THE REAR END THAT WOULD HAVE BEING MY LAST THING TO DO I ALREADY PURCHASR THE YOKE AND C CLIP, BESIDES THAT ENJOY THE CAR
THINGS NEEDED TO FINISH CAR COMPLETLY= LIKE I MENTIONED THE LEFT SIDE YOKE ALREADY PURCHASE WITH C CLIP ALSO THE DRIVER DOOR SAGS THE BUTTOM BUSHING NEEDS TO BE REPLACE,THE DASH IS NEW ITS A CAP LOOKS GREAT BUT UNDER IT YOU HAVE THE ORIGINAL CRACK ON THE PASSINGER SIDE 3'' LONG AT THE END OF IT, i purchasr the car for 19,000 and put in 5200 with receipts selling it for 17,800 new price

do you still have spare tire carrier and will it still fit with new exhaust? did you get the car to quit stalling out at 60 mph and what was the problem? thanks

yes i do have the tire carrier and yes it will still fit the car also the 68 mph issue was the mallory distributor i sent it to them and they were able to simulate the fault at that rmp range 2500 bad ground interanally they fix it i ended up put in a brand new one car running better than when i purchase it

Does car have power steering? What exactly needs to be done to rearend? Is rearend making noise or what? Could this car be a daily driver? Thanks, great car.

the car has P/S and the rear end the left if you pull on the tire you could see some play on the inner yoke i was told it could be the c clip so i purchase a c clip and a yoke incase the one there has worn out the enite rear arm is compltly restored by a reputable fellow in the forum and yes the car could be a daily driver with no problem/not to say the conditions of this car are great would not wanna be using the car has a daily driver here in NEW YORK...... also this past summer i drove quite a bit long drives with no issues and once i got stuck some crappy traffic the car had no issues.,.

I would think being a navy man you would have access to help with your problem. It would be a lot better than insulting people for no reason except to make you feel good about yourself.
