Default WTB C3 convertible

Hello all! Im looking to buy a C3 convertible with an automatic transmission for my wife. What we are looking for is a 1968-1973 C3 must be a convertible and must be automatic anything else no big deal. Not looking for any project just a fun car to drive on the weekends and show.

I currently own a 2004 C5 Z06 and now that we have just joined a local Corvette club my wife would like to have her own car to show as well.

Can anyone tell me what i can expect to pay as a ball park please? I have some cash now plus if it is beyond my budget i have a 1966 Chevy Impala SS convertible with a 396 BB with 27K original and document miles i would consider trading as well for the right Vette. Thanks everyone, let me know if anyone has any leads!!!

If you arent looking for anything special, low-mid 20s on average for a decent SB 69-72. More for very nice cosmetics and options, lower for wrong numbers and needing work.

You will save money on the automatic and the '73 is cheaper than a comparable 69-72. If your wife doesnt care, an automatic '73 roadster could be your best buy. I wouldnt expect to spend a lot less, but you should be able to get a significantly nicer '73 auto than '69-'72 for the same $.

Hi. Perhaps your wife would like a little more performance in her Corvette convertible? My recommendation would be this very nice 1968 tri-power convertible with power everything and an automatic transmission (Hydramatic). Have her take a look. :-)

Default 73 Vert

OK - just finishing up my '73 Conv. PW, PS, PB, AC, AT and L48 small block. Let's see, 9500 for the car, 11,500 for the fame off chassis restoration and about 9000 in parts. My price is $22K (no, it doesn't add up to a favorable investment)

I may have sold it. I was looking for $26900 but agreed on 23k since it will need a few odds and ends. The guy is suppose to wire me money on Monday. If something falls through if you are interested I can let you know the final outcome. Thanks for your intrest.
