The car is in NE Indiana. It's a project because it needs the interior reinstalled. There's new carpet, an insulation kit, seats need recovered, missing headliners for the t-tops. Basically needs put back together. Mechanically the car is sound, new heads, cam, lifters, intake, headers, exhaust, rear spring, front shocks, a arm bushings, lower valance and spoiler, Borgenson Pwr steering box, fuel pump, headlight switch, calipers rebuilt. Not a show car and beyond a restoration.IMO

Are you saying that you have the carpet and insulation kit...or that it needs carpet and an insulation kit?

Do you have an interior pic of what it looks like now?
What's going on underneath and what does under the hood look like???

This is starting to get interesting...

Now the all important question...Rust? Frame, Birdcage...you know the deal.
Any undercarriage pics??? If so...could you get some...

Does everything work??? Gauges, lights, headlights etc? Any electrical problems...any problems in general besides the fact that the interior is not in tact? T-tops leak???

With the exception of major rust, I think your expectations are a bit high. It's a $3800 "project"

The frame is solid as is the bird cage. I don't have any pictures of the undercarriage. If there's something specific you'd like to see I might be able to get a picture for you. The T tops don't leak because it's never been out in the rain since I've owned it. It was a project when I bought it. All the lights work although there are missing vacuum hoses from the light switch. I've used an air hose and gotten the headlights to pop up so I believe they function. The gauges work. Jclgodale3 said it best, It's a "project". If you're not mechanically inclined it's not for you. If you expect to put the interior back in and use it as a daily driver, look somewhere else. I believe I could part it out for more than i'm asking for it, and that may still be an option. I'm selling it because I have a C2 project I'm putting a Street Shops frame under with an LS-7 and a 6L90 transmission and I have run out of room in my shop. I was hoping someone who wasn't a "purist" would buy it and have a fun car to play with. I'm just trying to be honest and not misrepresent the car.

I think you represented the car very well. Thinks for all the info...will let this marinate and will get back to you if I have anymore questions

You could drive it the way it sits. I've driven it around the neighborhood. I didn't have plates for it so I didn't venture too far from home. It's sat for a while and when I started it up the other day the Holley carb was seeping fuel from around the front bowl gasket. I think the gaskets dry out when they aren't run. I don't know that I'd drive it to Indy unless I had someone with a trailer following me.

It looks like a great starting point if the frame and birdcage check out.
