Delta: Yup. The intention was to keep this car as a show car from Day 1. We took it to many indoor events.
As of right now it is just taking up space and after 31 years its time for another hobby :P

You would think with as much as people know and value corvettes on this site he wouldn't have to go to Barrett Jackson with it.
This is clearly a once in a lifetime opportunity for a collector or hard core enthusiast. The 82 CE was my favorite stock corvette of all time for looks alone.
It was the first car ever that I didn't want to change something on upon ownership except the oil.

As of right now there are a few people interested in our corvette. The only serious offers have been for $26K.
To me this seems a bit low considering the price of the car in 1982 however I really have not seen any other car in similar condition as mine as a comparison.
Does anyone here have any input?
Thanks guys!

It's a beautiful car and worth every penny you are asking for it!
How many other 30 year old brand new corvettes are out there. Unless you do a complete frame off nut and bolt restoration of one. Then of course that would easily cost you 35 grand!
I would contact Dana Mecum and get an idea of how much it might bring at auction. Good thing is that if it does not meet your reserve then you don't have to sell it unlike Barret-Jackson.
GLWS!
