72 Fully Loaded BB Coupe For Sale
Some of you may have followed my post in the General Section about my car and it is now time to sell it.
1972 original motor, 4 speed, Factory A/C, PS, PB, PW, T/T, with ralley wheels and T/A Radials.
The car is an original Steel Cities Gray car that has been repainted to a slightly different color Gray without as much green. The car has had some repair on the front end and a crack repair on the drivers side front fender maybe from too big of a tire at some point. The paint is driver quality with some nicks and chips but does make a nice appearance. The car does run and drive. It has a very solid no rust frame and the pillars look ok with just a visual inspection. The car has what appears to be its all original interior including the carpet but I cannot guarantee that. It is just my opinion based on condition. There are some minor wear areas but that is to be expected for a 40 year old car. The original radio has been changed to another radio that has the word "Corvette" on it. The radio does not work.
The headlights go up and down properly and lights are working except for one low beam.
The wipers are working and the wiper door does open but does fully retract. I think that it can be adjusted.
The exterior lights that include brake, tailights, blinkers, flahers, and side marker lights all work. The backup lights do not.
The interior courtesy lights do not work
The rear license plate lamp assembly is missing. I have no idea why.
The speedometer and the tacometer both work.
The fuel gauge appears to be working but I am not sure how accurate it is.
The temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge ( No effect on the engine. The engine appears to be in excellent condition), the clock and battery gauge are not working. Other stuff like seat belt indicator and headlamp indicator and E brake light are all working.
The suspension is original and at some point should be rebuilt. When driving you hear an occasional sqeak or popping maybe like a U joint. It is nothing serious that has to be dealt with now.
The car is an above average unrestored car that does need some work. I am pricing it lower that any other comparable fully loaded BB that I can find anywhere. I am also willing to allow some reduction off of my asking price to help with some of the repair items.
You can see current just recently posted pictures on my General Thread I believe on page 4.
Asking $32,000
You can call me anytime to discuss the car in more detail.
Somebody is going to get a very original good car for a very good price.
Thanks
Jay

72 BB Coupe
I went and looked at this car this afternoon. I found it to be exactly as described and it runs and drives very well. It's hard to find a solid driver like this that can be enjoyed today and freshened up as time and money allows. Someone needs to buy this car soon or I may not be able to resist the temptation myself.

The car is scheduled to be picked up by the end of next week. Until it is gone I consider the Sale still pending. I will update again after it is delivered.
