1981 Blue/blue T-tops clean
Dark blue metallic 1981 Corvette with blue leather interior. Appears to be original 190 H.P. 350 V-8 and somewhat rare 4-speed. (This was the last year a manual transmission was available in a Corvette until well into the '84 production year.)
The car is all stock and equipped from the factory with removable glass roof panels, rear window defogger, aluminum wheels, and AM-FM radio w/ cassette. It has a unique factory Canadian/American speedometer with the kilometers per hour ring on the outside and the mph ring on the inside. This Corvette was built at the St. Louis plant in February, '81. It looks and runs great with just under 70,000 miles. (Odometer reads in kilometers, too.)
Service work completed in late 2012 includes:
New brake lines
New drive shaft u-joints
New 1/2 shaft u-joints
New strut bushings
New Rochester carb
New power steering assembly
New power steering belt
New radiator in 2007
There is a book of service receipts to go with the car as well. The car has been well maintained, and these receipts show this.
Price Drop!!! $11,500!!!
If interested, please email gfoster852@hotmail.com
The car is located in Newton, IA right off I-80 approximately 25 miles East of Des Moines. More pictures available upon request!

The speedometer setup is for a Canadian car.
This car was built to be exported for sale in Canada.
I don't remember for sure, but I think the oil pressure gauge is also metric, and the temp gauge reads in Celsius.
Nice looking car

Forgot to mention, the Wild Wade's swap meet is this Sunday at the Iowa State Fairgrounds from 8-3 if I remember correctly. Sorry again about the late reply@!
