Cruisin..... thanks for the reply and thanks for the complement !! the only place I have this car listed for sale is here on this forum. while I want to sell this car... I do not need to sell this car. And I have been in contact from someone in Austria that has been PM'ing me from this site. He keeps asking me to send pictures of my automobile information such as title and Vin numbers and registration and I told him that's not how it works but I'm letting it play out and see where it goes. I have never dealt with an over sea's buyer... especially with the sale of a vehicle for this amount of money.

Yes, I am Markus from Austria and no I do not want to cheat anyone. But in Austria it is a bit difficult to register an vintage car. And if the papers are not in order, it is almost impossible. My friend is also here in the forum and he also bought his C3 in the US. He also checked the papers before the purchase so that there are no problems with the registration. I hope you understand.
I'll write you a PM again.

If I were Max in Austria, I would BUY THIS CAR.
You just can't find a car like this very often. Sure, it seems like alot of money,
until you have to replace parts and fix things on a cheaper car,
then you will kick yourself for not buying this car.
Good Luck!

JMILLS......Stock replacement front springs..stock replacement rear spring pack. and with the lower than stock profile 17" tire it does appear to be sitting a little high but its not sitting higher there is just a little more space between the tire and fender lips.
is that your ONLY observation of this car..? if so ....thanks

No shortcuts, no excuses thats what seprates yours from the rest of the herd $ wise you did stuff most overlook or skip AND show it in your pics
It will take someone who has been down this road to appreciate and pay but hes out there
OP theres no harm at all in sending the guy in Austria a copy of your paperwork. Or no risk to you anyway...have him wire transfer, car is sold.

ChairmanMeow....thanks for the interest.
The transmission is a Level II from Bowtie Overdrives.
https://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cat....php?ITEMID=12
the torque converter is a 1800 stall HD.
https://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cat...php?ITEMID=264
and the gear ratio is 3:08. plenty of power 1st thru 4th and then once in overdrive the RPM's are about 1500/1800 @ 65 MPH compared to the 3 speed TH-400 Hydro that would rev close to 3000 RPM's @ 65 MPH. The 2004R has good ratios with the 3:08's and even better fuel economy
and to control it all I have a B&M Converter Lockup Controller and it's set @ 55 MPH to lockup the converter and go into overdrive.
http://www.bmracing.com/products/702...&md=&smd=&eng=
I also installed Bowtie Overdrives powdercoated trans crossmember.
https://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cat....php?ITEMID=62
this car is a pleasure to drive @ any speed...whether your just cruisin around town in 3rd or in 4th doing 60/65 MPH on the freeway in OD.... ....just bring the RPM's up and the converter unlocks and the trans downshifts and you can have all the fun you want !!
This 200R4 OD conversion from Bowtie Overdrives is a great upgrade from the factory TH-400 3-Speed. the average person would never know that it didn't come this way from the factory.

Transmission, Shifter linkage and crossmember.
after some of these pictures were taken.... the exhaust pipes were changed to bring them away from the transmission to reduce heat in that area and the new Bowtie crossmember was installed. and the melted speedometer cable was also replaced.

Wow, you're selling this car!
Guys, I built the box for this car and followed the build. You can not buy a C3 and do all the work rebuilding it that went into this car for $40k. Take my word on this car, more work has been done to it that then you see on many vettes rolling across the TV on big name auctions. If I had $40k I would buy this car in a second but I don't and I have a 72 coupe & 69 drop top already. I guarantee it will steer better then any stock box vette out there.
My advice is to keep it and enjoy it, drive it as much as you can.

Thanks for the compliment Gary the work you did on the steering box is one of the reasons this car is so fun to drive. the steering is so responsive and easy to control. with the smaller diameter leather wrapped steering wheel and the 17" wheels and tires... this car drives down the road straight all on its own. the handling is tight and sporty feels like the car is on rails
