For Sale: 1974 Corvette 454, 4-Speed 53k original miles
#1
FS or Possible trade: 1974 Corvette 454, 4-Speed 53k miles $19,750
1974 Chevrolet Corvette, Numbers matching 454 and 4-speed transmission. This car has the deluxe interior, power steering, power brakes, tilt telescoping steering wheel and A/C. 53k original miles and garage kept since new. The car was originally a dark brown car (Paint code 68) on saddle vinyl (Code 415). It has had one high quality repaint in red. I am the third owner of the car and the previous owner had the car garage kept for 27 years. All of the gauges work including the clock.
I recently had the car gone thru (less than 100 miles ago) and have all the receipts for the following:
4 brand new 255/60/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
4 brand new stainless steel brake calipers.
Brand new brake flex lines.
Brand new brake master cylinder.
New stainless steel parking brake rebuild kit (cables, brake shoes, etc).
Complete set of period correct belts.
Complete set of period correct hoses.
New fuel pump.
New water pump.
Complete tune up including new ignition points, cap, rotor, plugs and wires.
The frame and birdcage of this car are rust free and solid. The body has never been hit and does not have any patchwork, etc. It has been stored in a garage its whole life.
The A/C on the car will need to be converted to 134a. The drivers side seat shows very minor wear on the left side (see pics). This car is show or cruise night ready and is turn key!!
Asking $19,750!! I would be interested in looking at a trade for a newer low mileage C6 or C7.
A video walk around of the car idling can be seen here:

Mystic,
Bump for a fine looking 74 Red BB Coupe! Appears to be very original (ok, except for paint, but red beats brown 8 days/wk) and priced well in the low $20's.

I passed on a 74' just because it was in it's original shade of brown. Almost bought a brown trim code 74' that was painted dark red before I found my 74' L82. Great car and fairly priced. GLWS

Had a '74 big block, 4 speed, with Hooker headers and side pipes. Car was fun to drive, even if it wasn't very fast.
Would love another, but not looking right now. Your car looks great though. Hope you're able to find the right buyer.
