Default Looking for my Old 1977 (orange)

Hello,

I am looking for my old 1977 Corvette Orange with Black leather. The last known location I have on this car is near Des Moines, IA in around 2012. I know this is a long shot, but I thought I would throw it out there. If anyone would happen to know of the car, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You. 1Z37L7S448597.

FWIW: you might try a title search through the Iowa DMV.

Google Corvette Clubs in Iowa, and contact each of them, asking about this car. Someone in the Corvette community know of the car.

Tried running your car through CarFax but they require a 17 digit VIN.

Given that 49,213 were built, your car was at the end of the production run, possible built in the last month and a half.

FWIW, I'd like to find my '77 Chartreuse coupe too......

I thought I posted this already, but I guess I didn't. According to NMVTIS, the car was last registered in Nebraska.

Check Nebraska Corvette Clubs or Nebraska DMV to see if you can locate it.

Link to Nebraska DMV: http://www.dmvnv.com/records.htm

Default Thanks Guys!

Hey Guys,

Sorry I am a little late. I havent been on much lately. I certainly appreciate all the advice and the posting of the title history. From the looks of it, the owner I sold it to still has it. That title date is when I got rid of it. Not really sure as to why he doesn't want to talk to me, but I will respect that. To my knowledge we left on really good terms and I didn't know of any issues which is why I thought it would be a good one to buy back. Once again, thanks for your help. If you happen to run across a really nice clean Corvette Orange 77, please keep me in mind.
