Default Now Here's How To Attract Potential Buyers ;-)

Probably a legit ad for a potentially nice car, but thought the description rather humorous. Absolutely no affiliation.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/6021412826.html

"...serious buyers only with CASH.if your a low baller don't contact me,if you don't have CASH don't contact me,if your a tire kicker f**k off don't contact me.scammers go suck a d**k don't contact me.SERIOUS ONLY...NO TRADES.. "

At that price I don't see anyone kicking tires anyway.

I like him, anything less in a buyer, let him go some where else.. Dealers are used to the losers this seller is trying to avoid. My friend has a used car lot, witnessed him, waste his time several times. Ron B.

If I'm looking for something and I see an ad like that I figure the guy is an a*hole and not worth the trouble of trying to deal with.

By that time, he'd be standing by himself.

Pass, not a guy I would want to deal with regardless of the car.

Totally agree. Too many guys loudly bragging how intimidating they think they are to buyers. Way too many cars for sale to spend 5 minutes of my day with some jerk. Don't care what the car or price is.

When I was looking for my C3 if I saw an ad that said "if you are a tire kicker, blah, blah, blah" I just did not go. I was seriously looking and had cash, but I also was particular and just because I look at a car does not mean I will like it even if the seller seems to be in love with it. I believe that people like this eliminate potential buyers with this kind of langauge.

I agree, people like this aren't the sharpest cookies in the light fixture. If you want to sell something and have the best chance of getting the price you want you have to accept that dealing with tire kickers, low ballers, etc. is a necessary part of it - you can't turn away potential buyers by showing you're an a*hole right off the bat.

Looks like the rear fenders have the 70+ flares. Good luck getting $33k out of that especially with the crappy ad.

You're dealing with people on cl, what do you expect?

Comma's, apostrophes and periods can go a long way.

Default Looks Like The Seller's "Toned It Down" A Bit

Re-posted without the expletives. I'm guessing F-bombs don't go over too well with buyers.
