FS [MI] 1969 L46 4spd Convertible $27,000
i All,
Up for sale is a matching numbers 1969 Fathom green / Saddle convertible with factory side pipes. I purchased the car only 3 weeks ago, Before I even had a chance to register it, I received a job offer in California had wont have room for my toys . I'm selling this car on the forum for what I paid for it, but it is up for sale locally at $29,999. This car is nice and the birdcage is spectacular. listed below is the backstory of the car and some basic things that I know about it.
Backstory:
The car was original purchased in Georgia by a District judge as a gift to his son. After a few years of enjoying it a bit too much and many tickets later, the father sold the car to a friend in Ohio where it sat in the garage for over 20 years. In the mid-late 90's it went through a "complete restoration". the car was driven on and off then in 2013 started going though a "mini resstoration".
[LIST][*]All under dash electrical and fiberoptics replaced/repaired[*]New converible top[*]new brakes[*]all new vacuum lines[*]New Edlebrock intake & carb (have original intake)[*]Various bushings[*]re-cored radiator[*]new OEM side pipes ($3800!)[*]new water pump[*]new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, tune up
There are lots of other details that i'm not covering. This car is really nice. it runs / shifts great the interior is nice and is a blast to drive. The paint is still form the 90's and although it looks nice to the average Joe and gets lots of compliments, it is not flawless. it has some stress cracks in a few places and a larger one in the center of the hood where the PO shut the hood with air cleaner stud too high. Its missing the passenger side rear interior quarter trim. these are readily available from many vendors. it wouldn't take much at all to make this a $45,000 vehicle. I'm selling it for what I paid for it $27000
I can help arrange shipping if necessary.

Pictures of the undercarriage and post them tomorrow. It does not have a hard top. Thank you for the interest.🙂. Let me know if you need any other info. I'm willing to work with anyone on the price s little as my deadline to move is getting close.
Hello Everyone,
I apologize for the the late responses. Im currently in Hong Kong for an an emergency Business trip and will in China for a tentative 4 weeks. Hi fortunately, due to Chinese law, I won't be able to access the forum to follow up on activity. I appreciate the interest in the car and will answer all questions and post pictures when I return to the States.
Thank you for your understanding🙂

I think I see A/C vents. If so does it work.
Suggestion. Bring the car to Calif. with you don't think you will have any problems selling a convertible now that's it's summer. Wife and I just drove along the coast to Cambria this last weekend.
