1981 parts car
SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!
Hello all,
I've got a complete, original 1981 C3 with only 17,XXX miles on it. It sat outside for many years after being in a minor accident that damaged the right quarter panel. The outside storage resulted in the paint being worn away down to the fiberglass in lots of spots, and the drivers T-top is broken.
I rebuilt the carb and it fired right up. My plan was to get it running and drive it as a rat/roadkill car, but after removing the rotted carpet and wire brushing the floor, I found a few holes on the drivers side. I made a patch and started welding it in, but it's so thin I keep blowing holes in it. Once I found rust holes around one of the seat mount holes and near the seatbelt anchor, I knew that was a non-starter, and putting in a drivers floor pan would be necessary to drive it safely.
The passenger side didn't reveal any holes, and the frame and body mounts look good. This car could be fixed up and kept whole, but I've realized its a bit beyond my skill level.
$2000, clear IL title in hand.

Here's a few more! Took it around the block today, but the brakes bled down to nothing. FL caliper seems to be leaking. Car ran good, ran it up to temp with no issues. Had 45psi of oil pressure at a high idle and was making 14.5V.

Does this car have the cruise control turn signal handle on it? My cruise control turn signal lever arm is cracked. I'm out in Az.
