Looking to buy 68-72 Numbers Vette. Would prefer convertible but doesn't have to be. Looking to spend $15,000 or less if possible. Please call or text (517)256-2717.

You would be wise to add $8-$10 K to your budget. I've owned 5 c-3's in the past. Roadsters are VERY hard to find for sale. I've not seen anything under $20k that was #'s and decent for years . Go for the '70--72's better body style, interior trim. '70 roadster ,4 sp being my first choice.

It will require either mechanical or body work at that price, so look for one that fits your skill set. Be sure to factor in what your after purchase costs are going to be. It often pays to pay a bit more, especially for paint that is already done well. If you are handy, and enjoy working on a car and making it your own, go for it. If not, you are way ahead by setting your budget more in the 20-25K range for one that is done and ready to drive,
