Default 68 or 74 ???

Car was built to look like a 68 but is titled in Virginia as a 74 . Vin number on the birdcage is original and it is a 1974 center section from a car I had purchased to modify. Several years of fiberglass work along with a set of Josh Powers flares. Two inch in the front and four inch for the rear. Front and rear is molded fiberglass with no metal bumpers. Hope this will clear up any questions.

How does the stock IRS rear handle the torque? Or, what was done to improve strength?

Thanks!

Default Irs

We had Zip Corvette here in Richmond build us a 3:70 IRS and it has held up remarkably well. Just remember, this is a foot brake drag racer so it is never subjected to the forces of a transbrake !
Thanks for the question.

If there was any chance to put this on the street legually here in Europe, this car would already be in a container.
And I would not try to bargain 1 cent out of your price.

We can only legually have "strictly original" cars in France. Some minor/invisible changes are accepted, but this one might be 'too much' to fool the controlers

Default Originality

Thanks for asking GregX1,
Very little on this ride is "original" . I would certainly like to see you have this vet but in all honesty, it would be a huge up hill battle with your local authority .

Default Extra equipment for vet

In addition to the tires and rims on this vet, it also comes with a complete set of tires and rims for the street. On the car at present is Hoosier slicks P325/50R15 and skinnys for the front 26.0X4.5-15 . Street tires are KUMHO ECSTA SPT 285/40 ZR17 for the front and TOYO PROXES TQ P315/35R17 for the rear. This set has less than 100 miles on them. Of course, all tires are presently mounted on Billet Street Lite rims. Two complete sets of tires and rims are probably in excess of four grand !

Very kool fun ride. Wish there was a video of this in action. That 1/4 mile must be a blast. Lets see it run, OK. Best on your sale. Very nice.
