Default 1976 Corvette with LS1/4L60E conversion

This will be going on Autotrader Classics in a few days after I collect some more pics, I wanted to put her up on the forum this weekend to give ya'll a first shot.

I’m the second owner of this 1976 and have owned it since 1981.In the 37 years I’ve owned it I believe I’ve touched just about every part of this car at one time or another. I have about 2500 miles and 3 years on the LS engine swap, it has been rock-solid reliable and an absolute blast to drive, but it’s time for a new project and I don’t have room for them all.
Asking $14,500 -- See later post for EBay listing with the price --
Car is located in Greensboro, NC. Please contact me for any additional details or pictures you might need, or to arrange to look.

General:purchased the car when I lived in TX, was my daily driver for awhile. We’ve lived in CA and NC since then.Never driven in winter. Garaged for the last 20 years, covered carport mostly before that.I have all records on this car since 1981, including detailed records and parts list from the LS1 swap, with a complete list of the modifications made. The odometer shows 86440, which I know to be 186440 since I bought the car with roughly 40K miles on it.

Engine:Summer of 2015 I swapped in a 5.7L LS1 engine and the powertrain control electronics straight from a 2001 Corvette;it has ‘241’ heads and an LS6 intake manifold; Holley LS-swap A/C bracket; F-body oil pan. This engine produces 350HP in stock 2001 Corvette form, I have done nothing to the engine / tune aside from adaptations needed to work in the chassis. In-tank electric fuel pump added to supply the new fuel injection system. I have ~ 2500 miles on the powertrain swap with no issues.

Transmission:4L60E, fully rebuilt in the summer of 2015 from a 5-pinionHD truck core (“4KZD”, 2004MY).Modified Bowtie Overdrives cross-member; uses car’s stock console shifter.Dakota Digital ECD-100 speedometer cable-drive system used to drive the car’s speedometer from the 4L60E digital pulse output.

Cooling System: Dewitt’s Aluminum radiator with SPAL dual 11” electric fans (PCM controlled). The car has never gone over 200F with the A/C on, with this setup…

Exhaust:
Hooker cast-iron LS-swap exhaust manifolds (ceramic coated); Corvette Central 2.5” dual exhaust system (w/ cross-over); MagnaFlow mufflers.…sounds amazing.

HVAC:
Stock HVAC system replaced at the time of the engine swap with a complete Vintage Air set-up; Sanden compressor compatible with the LS1’s front belt setup, trinary switch connected to PCM and controls the cooling fans. R134 system. All is controlled from the car’s original HVAC dash controls and uses the original air outlets -- looks completely stock and A/C works excellent…

Chassis/Suspension
: All-original frame in good condition, showing very slight surface rust only.Composite rear leaf spring; Rear trailing arms / bearings rebuilt by Bairs; SS-lined brake calipers w/ O-ring seals; Van Steel front suspension kit (Tubular A-Arms w/coil-over adjustable shocks) allows ride-height adjustment.Stock steering box was blueprinted recently. All suspension components are in good working order.American Racing Ansen Sprints wheels, 17x8” in front, 17x9” in rear.Like-new BFG g-Force Super Sport tires (P245/45R17 fronts, P275/40R17 rears).

Body/Paint:Fiberglass rear bumper with seam filled; 1981-style front fiberglass nose with seam filled; aftermarket ‘Turbo’ hood(have original hood, will come with the car); Urethane pace-car-style front spoiler.Re-painted in 2004 with a color closely matching the original Bright Blue metallic, but with basecoat/clearcoat.The stripes coming out the coves are painted on, under the clearcoat.T he paint looks amazing and always gets compliments.

Interior
: Mostly stock, older replacement cloth/leather seat covers; new carpet installed 2004 when painted the car;Updated (AM/FM/CD/USB) stereo and speakers;One-piece smoked plexi-glass ‘Astro-Top’ (original T-Tops come with car); All gauges are stock with the exception of replacing the Ammeter gauge with a Voltmeter gauge from another year Corvette (done at time of LS engine swap). The top of the dash is cracked and could use some love, the rest of the interior looks darn good for being over 40 years old.

Electrical: a dded an under-hood fuse/relay center (FRC) for integration of the LS engine PCM and controls; added drive-by-wire throttle pedal and TAC module; reprogrammed the stock 2001 engine PCM using HP Tuner to adapt it to the chassis. More recently, added an additional under-hood sealed FRC for upgrading the headlamp wiring (added relays and fusing / circuit breakers) + upgraded Low/High Beam sealed beams to Hella halogen headlights.

Some photos (...more coming soon) :

Do you have more pictures? Interior and underside. Also a side shot to show more of the exterior paint. What is the color of the interior? Cloth, leather, or vinyl?

Some additional pics....
Interior is the deluxe leather, code 192, in black... seats were recovered awhile ago in cloth/leather combo.
Also the one photo under the radiator shows a small patch of rust in the radiator surround near the radiator drain petcock.

A few bids on the first round, but didn't hit reserve.
Trying one more cycle, no reserve, starting at $12.5K:
