FS: [NY] 1974 350 Convertible Numbers Matching
#1
Upstate NY 1974 350 Vert, Numbers Matching 14K OBO
Located in the central NY region. Utica/Rome
I have a 74 Corvette Convertible I wanted to see if anyone was interested. It's in very nice shape, has a few paint cracks around the top cover and rear side above wheel well. And the usual nose chips from driving this summer. Overall its a perfect driver quality c3. I've had a ton of fun with it, but I am buying my first home and this would help with a downpayment,
It's an Automatic and has 36k miles on it and it will go up because I drive it on the weekends and sunny days. Everything is original including interior with some sun fade spots on the carpet. Vinyl interior has one crack on drivers side door, which is also missing one screw. A full tune up was recently done to it (New Plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor) New brake pads on rears.
Bird Cage is in solid condition, its overall in really great shape.
Some background info - I bought this car from Ohio Corvettes and Muscle Cars (Pretty big collector in Canton Ohio) Before I owned it, it was in their showroom for a few years and before that it belonged to the original owner who bought it brand new in Canton in 1975. He was a mechanic for the dealership (Ohio Corvettes and Muscle Cars). He unfortunately lost his battle with cancer and left the car to the collection.
Original convertible top has a crack in the rear plastic (When i towed it home it was so cold it caused the plastic to crack) which is taped up right now and doesn't leak but doesn't look the greatest. Just haven't had time to get a new one on. Seats are locked and don't fold up, havent looked into it just yetShoot me a message with any questions, asking 14k, send me an offer!
It will come with a New RetroSound Hermosa Radio (I have the original radio installed right now).

Ok my post seems to have disappeared. Hmmm
Hey great looking car but not for me. My suggestion would be that you add a more accurate lication of the car since NY is a large state. GLWS Ike

When you get a chance to update the pictures please include a picture of the options plate located inside the drivers side door. I'd be interested in the original color combination of the car and interior. Do you have the build or delivery information from the car? You have great provenance with the car, did you manage to get that paperwork with the purchase from the dealership? Original documentation really helps with the sale.
And what color is the current convertible top? Would like to see the damage you are speaking of on the top.
Do you have paperwork that helps document the mileage on the odometer?
Interested in learning more.
Thank you.

Still up for grabs and its only being advertised on this site. Don't really know of any other sites to post it on besides craigslist or facebook but id rather keep it geared towards the corvette community
Lowered asking price to 15k, looks like I'm building house and could use the equity in the car for any unexpected costs that are sure to come with this project.
