There is a 15k mile beautiful original 71 Coupe at MERSHONS for 60k... has most of the original exhaust on it.. BLUE BLUE. car should triple bowtie.
A 70 Roadster with 38k miles Yellow beautiful 65k.. everything there - should also triple bowtie.
Both are original paint, original interior cars, and the engines have never been out or apart.

FWIW...
If LT1's are on the market, have original paint and are fairly unmolested I try to find them in order to study the photographs...
Finding original unrestored cars and studying the photographs so I could determine if anything was "out of place" when inspecting cars for purchase led to hundreds of hours of research. This has kept me pretty well informed of the market for the last 8 months or so... It also led me to conclude that I preferred to buy a car that was never restored and really wanted a car with an engine which had never been apart.
There are very few on the market at any time which fit my narrow parameters.
... SO here is a thumbnail of the LT1 market at a glance:
At any given time there are 20-35 cars available which someone may consider as real & verifiable with a significant number of their original parts in an unmodified or correct finish and not in an over-restored condition.
If the engine compartments are devoid of rattle can black paint on the hoses and the engines do not have heavy bright orange paint on them I will typically remember the cars, if the chassis are unrestored with original paint they make a better impression on me.
More coupes than roadsters - but not by that much...
60-70% usually have original interiors
90% are original colors- typically less than 10 cars have 60-70%+ of their original paint.
I personally do not keep track of completely restored cars as I have very little to ZERO interest in studying photos of restored cars.

looks unmolested and it would clean up nicely. NO restoration, just preservation.
71 mid production 5 port wiper washer with looped hose, harnesses probably have the washer hoses included but they are severed by the Master cylinder.
The rad and cap appear correct the top rail is correct...
Missing the smog and the 71 only vacuum break solenoid - the electrical plug is by the drivers side vertical ignition shielding.
RF ink stamp suggests the alt is original - although it is clocked in a different position than mine or others I have seen.
The rad hose has the same stripe configuration as my original - mine has the part number close to the rad inlet.
The Mater cylinder appears to be the correct 509 DC stamped casting.
Doesn't have PS PB or PW.
Pretty sure that the 710 cap is a reproduction
OH and the ignition shield is backasswards, which is why it looks like it is squishing the wiper washer cover.

Check out Boston, Ma. area (Metro West) Craigslist. There is a 71 (I think) LT1 car. Car is somewhat known in this area, Original 8000 mile car. Current owner bought it from the estate of the original owner shortly after his passing. Never apart, never wrecked, nice original car. Worth a look.

Wow that 71 in Boston is a little overpriced to say the least. A 70 Lt1 just sold on eBay yesterday for 20700. Nice original car no hit body original paint, drivetrain,etc with a ton of paperwork. Had a few add ons like headers and an electronic ignition setup but all the main 70 only pieces were present. Not a huge fan of the color combo though was bridge Hampton blue with blue interior

If the ebay car was the Blue /Bright blue car, it was discussed elsewhere on the foruma... the guy wanted 25k for it didn't he? It was missing ALOT of parts which were going to run to over 10k plus whatever time you have in the restoration of the chassis and the body. There were dated components such as the carb, the distributor, the smog equip, exhaust manifolds etc... you would be quickly upside down unless you did a significant amount of the work yourself.
