1973 Conv - #s matching-complete body off restoration
About two years ago I completed a full end to end body off restoration on my 1973 Corvette convertible. I bought the car from the 2nd owner back in 2013 and spent about three years restoring the car. I pulled the body off the frame, had the frame and all the suspension chemically stripped and then e-coated. I replaced or rebuilt just about every single component on the car. It is a numbers matching L-48 engine. Originally it was an automatic and I kept the original transmission and all the parts if someone wanted to switch it back. Here are a few photos. As you might imagine I have a ton from the restoration. Here is just a few of the major components replaced or rebuilt:
Frame and all suspension chemically stripped and fully immersed in e-coat paint
Engine rebuilt
4 speed rebuilt with new Hurst shift linkage
All wiring harnesses replaced
All hoses and hard lines replaced
All new suspension and brake components
Rebuilt trailing arms
Rebuilt differential
New interior and top
Original factory yellow paint color (base / clear)
Re-chromed bumpers
New tires and trim rings
I recorded a video of me starting the car after it's been sitting for a few weeks. Here is a link to the video on YouTube.
I am asking $23,500 for the car.
