1980 4-Speed Coupe
Hello everyone, does anyone have any connections for a 1980 Corvette coupe, preferably red or black, with a red or black interior, with a 4-speed and air conditioning? I know that narrows the list down considerably, but there are a couple that pop up every now and then in my area and I just wanted to see what else was out there. I do not care about numbers matching because this is going to be a road trip cruiser, not a show car. Based on the prices of driver quality examples I have seen I have set my budget at $14,000.
I am not scared of modified cars. I would actually prefer a car that has been updated and includes electric cooling fans, updated AC system, smog pump removed, aftermarket intake/carb, etc. I plan on switching to Holley Sniper EFI for fuel efficiency and ease of tuning and troubleshooting.
For those wondering why I want a 1980, since this is a road trip car I need the storage space that the hatch provides, I want a 4-speed, and I really can't stand the front bumpers with the bumperettes and the rear-spoilerless bumpers of earlier years
If anyone wants to trade for a 2003 C5, torch red, black interior, automatic, mostly stock other than a Blackwing filter, wheels, and custom Spintech axleback, let me know (+ cash for the right car). The c5 is great, but I have been itching to get back to an analogue car.
Thanks in advance!

I've been thinking about listing my 79 Torch Red resto-mod on here (built 350, 6 speed, tubular suspension, modern steering rack, etc.)
While it's not an 80 or 4 speed car, this may hit the mark on what you're looking for ( electric fans, modern serpentine set up, updated AC system, aftermarket intake/carb/cam/exhaust etc).
My price range is a bit north of your budget, but not by much. The car is located in Massachusetts.
If you're interested in more information, please send me a PM.
Thanks,
Chris
