FS: 1976 Metallic White Corvette

1976 Metallic White Corvette
1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
This car belonged to my dad who owned it for 20+ years and it was kept in Fort Myers. We brought the car to Indiana a couple years ago after his passing and have done some basic maintenance and work to get it rode worthy again. We would consider it a good looking 'driver' car.
We don't spend much time driving the car and plan to restore one of his other cars instead of keeping the Vette.
Specs:
White metallic paint
Odometer reads 46,883
- Speedo does not currently work
Original 350 L48 - no major work done
Original transmission - no major work done
Work completed 2018:
New windshield
New tires
New power steering lines
New belts
Rebuilt Carburetor
Cooling system inspected/repaired
New brake pads
New 'corvette' & 'stingray' badges
Car was polished and received minor paint correction
Purchased new outdoor rated car cover
Known Issues:
Speedometer does not work
AC does not work
Driver side window motor is slow
Located 1 hr west of Indianapolis, IN
$6,500.00 obo

Monday Bump. I think we are asking a fair price. I know it's not exactly the most desirable or sought after Corvette, but what else would hinder us from selling the car? Maybe we will try eBay again.

I think your right there as far as pricing..Yeah it can use some clean up but you have done some important maintenance on it as well...Car looks solid and not butchered...
I too am trying to sell my 73 convertible on here with no luck...Car is not numbers matching- its better....Yet many buyers look for this..
The C-3s that gain attention to me are the ones that have been restored...Then again a totally restored car gets limited use as it is.....Going back and forth to a car show is Kool but it gets long in the tooth after awhile.....When the temp is pushing 90 with humidity to boot the last place you want to be is in a 40 something year old vette with no AC...

Give it time there are parts cars on cl for 6-8k....Id drive it.
If you put a carpet kit and got the ac working it should get at least 8k quick.....may be just turning $ over but more appealing visually.
Some get turned off at the thought of what ac would cost to fix.
