Steering rack replacement on a C4
Was wondering if there was any kind of How to pages for the C4 - I know there is for the C5 - I am needing to replace the steering rack because I am getting tired of having to let the car warm up before I can turn it to the right.

The part that is really helpful to me is
"it would be a good idea to get a turkey baster from the grocery store and suck all the power steering fluid from the reservoir".
Maybe by doing that I won't get my a** roasted by the wife for stealing hers, LOL!

i have the "101 projects for your C4" book, and it goes into detail about this procedure. i'm thinking about doing it myself eventually. it doesn't seen all that bad. like most other projects with the C4, it takes more time to get stuff out of the way then to actually do the procedure of changing the part...
get the book, its available in book stores and is worth every penny IMHO.
