88 C4 LCD display

Does anyone know where I can get a new LCD crystal for my 88 C4 vette or have my instrument cluster repaired.

I'll suggest Gene Tabor 1 888-454-1911. He did good by me and several others-although there have been some negative posts. Call him and see what he has to say.

Depends on how good you are with working on your own car. When my 86 cluster went out I just took it out of my car, took it apart, found where the connectors were burnt, and took it to a local electronics repair place like a TV repair place. $20 cash and about 20 mins. later he handed it back to me and I went home and put it back together.

If you have a bad crystal thats another story though, good luck on finding one, no one will sell them, they want to sell you the whole repair. You can watch ebay they do have them on there from time to time.
