Hey..., he is a Scout Pilot. Taking a picture at speed is no big problem when all four tires are stuck to the road.

Now try hovering a KW out of a FARP at night with the Big Rigs (Apaches) running up in the pads next to you..., that takes all four limbs!

I think it is also important to look at reliability, ie oil temp in tranny, engine, and diff at those speeds in Germany. I bet the Vettes driveline wont last at those speeds, Of course, your fuel wont last very long either, since at about 5 mpg at WOT you could only go 100 plus miles before refueling.

at WOT for a good ten minutes , and then maintaining 135 to 155 the rest of the way, I refueled twice, at about 150 miles. Alot of that had to do with cruising being in the overdrive gear and not 3rd.
I change my oil and transmission fluid, and all filters much more often than I do in the states. Its all about shorter intervals of preventive maintenance if you want to have some fun. The car has been incredibly reliable the whole time.
The one thing that is annoying is that I go through brake pads like crazy and have to clean the sawblades often to get all the dust off it. I have since switched to GS rims which should aid in the cooling and dispersion of the dust.
I believe the C4 was really built for high speed cruising but sadly we cannot enjoy it for that in the states...which is why Im keeping a home and my vette in Germany oh, that and the beer and women

Mine hasn't seen speeds any higher than the 1/4 will allow me to go really......I just feel bad if I'm hammering it for that length of time.

I might open it up one day.....na I'm kinda scared of speeds over 110 HAHA
