Hey guys, as requested, finally got the new new ZR1's and tires from OE balanced and on the car (91 Steel Blue Metallic Coupe) and photos taken.
Attached are a couple of snaps. More pictures in "My Corvette Photos". Thnaks again to everyone who provided input and opinions on whether or not to go 9.5's or 11's (9.5's) and whether or not to go painted or polished (painted).

I am VERY happy with the look.
Looks awesome.... I had a wreck in mine over the weekend... It's not too bad but bad if you know what I mean... The wife's out getting quotes on fixing it... I might be able to squeeze out a whole paint job out of it... I hope i hope....
Looking good Scott. So did you get the 11's on the back?
I didn't realize how far you had gotten on trying to polish your sawblades.
Thanks Tim,
No I ended up going with the 9.5's on all 4, and I'm happy I did. The 11's work for some guys, but I prefer a more stock look, and after looking at a lot of forum member cars with 11's I decided it just looks a little too "steroid-ish" for me. I'm definitely happy with the 9.5's.
Yeah, polishing my sawblades, an ugly job to say the least because of the slots. I'm still plugging away on wheel #1, but it's one hell of a job. I may end up repainting the rim if it starts to get ridicuolus - like I said, still working on the first one. Alternatively, I may buy one new (used) sawblade to get back to the full set of painted blades if repainting doesn't work.
Cheers,
Scott...
Good choice on wheels I just a 9.5 OE ZR1 silver in today, the other three are coming in tommorow. I polished my sawblades too and one tip I found out to make things go faster is to wet sand it with wd-40. Goes alot faster than water..
