weatherstrip ?
this is off ebay i am buying a weatherstrip kit for my vette one staates that the 90-96 the door weatherstrips are different so they sell there earlier kits seperate from the 90-96 kits which i would need the other kit i am checking out here is the quote from there auction:
SOME SELLERS ARE LISTING 84-89 AND 90-95 DOORS DIFFERENT AND THEY WERE BUT CHEVY UPDATED THE 90-95 DOORS AND THEY ONLY SELL UPDATED DOOR NOW OUR DOORS ARE UPDATED DOORS.
so is this true or should i forget buying from this seller the last thing i need is a kit that wont work he is selling his kit for 300.00 the other kit for the 90-96 is 280.00 both have excellent feedback ratings

It has been a few years since I swapped the weatherstrip. If memory serves, the earlier had more screws holding the 2 ends down. The later had 1 less screw on each end. Otherwise it fit on my car with no issues. Once the door panel was on you could no tell the difference in fit , function or appearance. This was at least true with the brand I used (Metro).
