Let's see pictures, we love pictures and how did buy it, from who??????
Agree! I would love to see some pictures of this unicorn. Congratulations on your new Corvette. With this rare find, it would also be great to see a picture of the window sticker, as I’m sure this rare car came with documentation. I always thought the 69 ZL1 Corvettes were the most rare with only two coming from the factory, but to have a model that is one of one is just almost beyond belief.
I thought the listing was pretty clear. It's an LT1 automatic car that was LT4 SWAPPED.after delivery. Whether it's a top end swap or a full engine swap is unclear. But it's no more special than someone putting Lloyd Elliott heads and cam on it.... Except the LE car.wpuld make more power.
Fauee, some confusion may exist from a different thread that was continued on this thread. I have taken a screen shot and underlined the confusion causing phrases. You are spot on if you only came in on this thread and may think that everyone else has lost their marbles.

People can claim whatever. The "LT4Automatic" person that supposedly had "the one" said in their for sale post that it was delivered as an LT1 Auto, then "converted by engineers from Bowling Green". They were pretty clear, it's an LT1 Auto converted into an LT4 motor with an Auto.
There are no factory LT4 automatica. Only LT4s swapped to autos, or Auto LT1 swapped to LT4s. All done after they left the plant.
What's on the SPID? What's on the build sheet from NCM? What is on these sheets is the way it was built on the line, and left Bowling Green as. What happened later means squat.
Callaway Twin Turbos were all built/converted after they left Bowling Green. Some CTT were ordered through a Chevrolet Dealer under option number B2K and drop-shipped to Callaway for conversion. Some brand new C4 were shipped to the dealer, then shipped to Callaway for conversion. These did not have option B2K. Some peeps argue that all CTT are "B2K" because the content is the same. (This is like calling any cola flavored drink "Coke".) I agree that all Callaway Twin Turbo have the same content, but a Callaway Twin Turbo that left Bowling Green with the option not on the SPID is not a B2K, because the option is not on the SPID. A CTT is indeed a CTT. Only a CTT that left Bowling Green with B2K on the SPID is a "factory ordered" CTT. There's a difference. It shows up in prices and desirability too.
The internet is working its wonders again. Wildass claims and others excitedly requesting pictures. The amount of people that believe everything they read is astounding. Worse yet, they go on to repeat this nonsense. P.T. Barnum had it right. Over a hundred years ago and it still holds true.

We both know what the RPOs say. It either says LT4 MN6 or LT1 M30 (more likely IMO)

The ones perpetuating this fairytale can't even get their stories straight. One says it's a CE and another says it's a Grand Sport. NOBODY (and especially in today's connected world) has a "one of" anything and the rest of the free world doesn't know about it.

Anyone who did would immediately try to monetize it on social media lol.

I hope you didn’t take my earlier sarcasm for hoodwinked enthusiasm. As the bean counters took over GM, the single options shrunk and options were instead part of option packages. Obviously, this increased efficiency and thus profits at the factory level. Actually, I have a one of one Corvette. In my garage.

^^^^^^^ Hard to tell on this forum. So many sounds of "Baaaaaaaa" on the internet. But I agree with you. The auto companies have totally fkd up the buying experience. Back in the seventies and eighties, I ordered several new vehicles. I could specify 8 track or cassette. Power locks, windows or both. Locking wheel coverings or not. 2 door or 4 door. Pillar or hardtop. Now, I just bought a new Ford Ranger. The XLT would have just been fine. But I wanted leather (???) seats. Guess what? Ford I guess finds it more difficult to bolt in a leather seat than a cloth one. I had to go Lariat for a mere seven large more.
