Default SuperRam Prices?

Does anyone know where to get the best deal on a SuperRam?
Now that medical insurance has topped 5G's a year, it looks like a C5 is
gonna have to remain a distant dream.

I have been looking for a Super Ram myself. The best I have found is Exotic Muscle sells the plenum and runners for $625 and you can get a Big Mouth Mainfold from TPIS on their EBay website for $380. So for a little over $1000 you can get the whole setup. Of course, to get the full potential out of the SR you will need new/ported heads, headers and a new chip. Also, others say porting the SR setup is extremely beneficial.

Your best bet is to watch Ebay.

You probably meant to say the SR base manifold, which is very important to port match (or come very close) to the intake runners in the heads. As for the SR runners and plenum, I'm told that porting ISN'T necessary at all.

Ebay is a good idea, but plan on them ending up close to top dollar anyway.........they go like hotcakes and everyone wants one. I've seen this time after time. I bid on a plenum & runners kit on Ebay, new in box for $600. The Exotic Muscle route isn't a bad way to go.

Well, all I know is EM still has it listed on their website as $625, so I would assume they would have to sell it to you for that price.

I know alot of people have had good experiences with
Exotic Muscle, but I have not.
A while back, I checked their website and decided to
buy the "Stainless, MANDREL BENT front Y for my Vette.
When it arrived, it was NOT stainless, and it was certainly NOT
a MANDREL bent piece. They did, however charge me for the
part ordered. When I called, the guy on the line told me he was
the owner and if I wanted to get the Stainless piece, I had to pay
shipping BOTH ways. When I brought up the lack of Mandrel bending
on the pipe, he replied,"Gee, is that still on our website? We haven't had those for a long time."
There's NO way I'd expect him to honor a listed price.
As far as I'm concerned, Exotic Muscle has closed their doors.

i've had several vendors pretty much laugh when they forget to update their websites and sell the part at a higher price.

Try calling 'em up and see...

that was my experience anyway...their web site could use a lot of improving. Pictures and descriptions could be better, IMHO.

I just got an Email back from Rich @ CruizinPerformance and he's
currently out of the Plenum/runners. No delivery date on the backorder.

Installing a super ram is a real pain in the ***. Good thing you have medical insurance because you may have to file a claim after installing that p/i/t/a

But it still performs will
